Travel the world. That's what I would do if I had the money. Wait not just the money...that's what I would do if I didn't have any responsibilities, or any obligations. "Fuck responsibilities, fuck obligations." That's what I would say if I was a bum... or an anarchist, both of which, I am not. I'm just a pretty average guy who has responsibilities and obligations and wants to travel the world. I am pretty much the same as anybody else. Well not really. Not all people want to travel the world. Some are pretty contented with their lives. Some just want to stay secluded to the life they have been used to. Anyway, what sets me apart from the billions of people in Earth? I have no idea. How about you? Do you have an answer for that question? If you do, make sure it's not a cliche about being unique and all. As weird and as peculiar as you are, you may actually have a counterpart in some other part of the world.

I am going nowhere with this nonsense. Is this what they call a train wreck? Sure feels like it. You started with an idea, an inspiration, a motivation... and you end up crashing. I'm not drunk. I never get drunk. Let's just say I haven't reached that level of barfing and crawling yet. Tipsy, yes, but not right now. I'm sober. I'm not high, either. I don't smoke that. I don't even smoke at all. Di rin ako sumisinghot noh. Masakit masyado sa ilong. Ayan na, nag-Tagalog na ako. Nak ng tokwa. Galing-galing ko na mag-english, napa-Tagalog pa ako. Haha labo ko talaga. I guess I'm really going nowhere with what I'm writing. I'm plainly writing jibberish. But who cares? This is my blog. I can pretty much write any goddamn thing here. Ops di ako galit. Mukha lang, pero hindi. Haha. See? May "Haha"... ibig sabihin, di galit.

Wait, are you still reading? Wala na talaga mapupuntahan yung entry na toh. To think of it, when I was considering of writing an entry awhile ago, I was really aiming to write about my dreams of exploring the world; on the places I would like to go to, and how would I go to them. Dati nung bata ako, gusto ko lang talaga pumunta sa States, the land of milk and honey. Gotta love your own country, ika nga. Sa ngayon, the top 3 places I want to go to are: Sagada, Kalinga, and Ilocos Norte. I wanna experience the provincial liiiife. What was Belle thinking? Provincial life is da bomb. Why search for something more than provincial life, when what lies beyond that is plainly just pollution and chaos? Siguro nasasabi ko lang toh kase taga-ciudad ako. I  guess I would be thinking the opposite if I had lived in the province. I guess I'm just having a wanderlust syndrome of sorts; a yearning to just escape from the industrialized Mecca that is Manila. A thirst for something different in a place of conformity and uniformity. *sigh* I want to travel already, but there's too many things preventing me from doing it... Putek may pasok pa ako mamaya. Alis na nga ako. Haha. Patawad at nasayang yung oras niyo kakabasa. *bow*

Thursday

Hell Month

It's been a hell month for me this whole month of February, and it's not because that it's also the month of cheesiness. Haha bitterness. Anyway, it's hell month because of two reasons. One, it's as hot as the 9 circles of Hell combined. Second, professors have been harassing us with the amount of workload lately. Ang dami ng gagawin grabe! We've got reporting, thesis, OD project proposal making + presentation, Group Dy Finals, and a number of quizzes. 3rd year has been a long shot from our freshmen days. Gone are the days when we only worry about 2 quizzes on a single day. Ngayon, pucha lahat ng subjects sabay-sabay na nagpapa-quiz. Dati rin, gustong-gusto namin ng class disruptions. Ngayon napupuno na kami sa disruptions kase may make-up classes rin naman.

Apart from acads, may org responsibilities pa ako. Haaaay. Too many things to do, so little time. Actually sa simula, maraming time eh... eh alam niyo naman ako procrastinator. Hence, the name of my blog. Haha.
Anyway, nag-rant nanaman ako. Patawad. I promise to post less rants next time. Hihihi.

40,000 Voices

So this post is long overdue. As in superkadooperultramagneticmegatron. Haha. Anyway, Last Jan

Well actually it was 38,865 voices. Haha. But who cares? Last night was still awesome! T'was a nice ending for the 400 years of UST! Even if we were exposed to the heat for about 4-5 hours, worth it naman.  Well nasabi ko rin naman yung init na dinanas namin, so imma rant about it kase talagang grabe yung init eh, pero short rant lang naman.

You see ito yung nangyari, we were all assigned to different sections: Bass, Alto, Tenor, and Soprano. Almost all of the guys were placed in the Bass area. Why? Cuz we're Super Bass (Uhm kbye. Hahaha). Anyway, ang init sa area namin (actually buong field mainit kase matirik talaga yung araw). Fortunately, most of us had umbrellas and water to keep us calm and well, sane. But some of the ones who did not opt to bring their umbrellas in such weather, uhm nahimatay lang naman sila. Yun lang naman. *sarcasm* It's all because of UST's unpreparedness again. Masyado silang nasasanay sa impromptu performance. Imagine 40,000 people in a field under the raging heat of the sun, and they're still doing soundcheck! They could've done it naman in the morning to spare us a few hours under the sun, diba? Sobra lang. Tapos yung mass... ang haba grabe! Parang 2 oras yung mass! Sabi ko nga sa kaibigan ko kahapon "Benjo, mass pa ba toh? Para kaseng pumipili na sila ng bagong Santo Papa!" Yeap, that's how we coped with the heat... through humor. Puro gago nga sa area namin eh. They kept shouting "Amaya" to girls with bandanas and "Rosalie" (from Angelito: Batang Ama) to girls wearing RED (capitalizing for emphasis) lipstick. Tapos may nakita pa kaming dude na may gold scarf na binansagan nilang "kapatid ni Amaya". Hahaha. Dude, whoever you are, I'm sorry for constantly laughing at you and also taking pictures of you. Thanks for entertaining us though. *thumbs up*

Okay rant done. See, short lang. Even if almost all of us were in the brink of fainting from the heat, the singing and the fireworks erased every pain we had gone through. The fireworks were really awesome, and this comes from someone who's sick of seeing fireworks (due to his birthday being January 1... sorry ako na. haha). Another plus was that they played a Coldplay song rather than an overused Katy Perry song about well... putukan (mga isip niyo talaga... bastos). Sa sobrang amazing nung fireworks (kase gets? nakaka-elibs talaga), I'm happy to cross off another item from my 2012 Bucket List. #21, baby!

2012 Bucket List.

1. Get higher than the Empire State (if you catch my drift *nudge nudge*)
2. Lose 30 lbs.
3. No TRES in my report card (Pucha, wag rin naman INC or SINGKO).
4. Go on a REAL date.
5. Win a Beer Pong match.
6. WATCH DEATH CAB.
7. Go to another country with FRIENDS (SINGAPORE or HONG KONG).
8. Do the Dougie correctly.
9. Get a higher NMAT score.
10. Get a passing grade on our thesis.
11. Finally learn to ride a bike.
12. Run in a marathon.
13. Finally get drunk (tried a lot of times, but I haven't gotten to that knockout state yet).
14. Make a mirror box (will explain some day).
15. Audition for something.
16. Crash a party.
17. Drive to Subic or Baguio.
18. Enter a Badminton competition.
19. Go to Sagada and go spelunking.
20. Go to Kalinga (ride a carabao and eat ants).
21. Be amazed.

Aside from the fireworks, the food was really awesome, too. It was the cherry on top of a really righteous sundae.  I'm also glad that na na-perfect na namin ng block ko yung gagawin pag may fiesta sa UST: One's in charge of the seats, one for the drinks, another one for the rice, one for the bowls, and the others for the food. Hope UST's still generous for the years to come. Sarap lang ng lechon! *thumbs up*

Everybody was Wushu Fighting

Since Tuesday of this week, I've been staying late in school to practice some basic Wushu moves for next week's Science Variety Show. Grabe, ang hirap pala. Kala ko suntok-suntok at sipa-sipa lang. Di pala. It wasn't the same routine Achi Gwen (former president of ComAch Centeral) showed us last summer. Sobrang woah! You have to be snappy and quick at dapat may pitik. Sakit nga ng katawan ko gabi-gabi eh. Sorry if I don't have pictures to prove it... I'm too busy mastering mah moves. Siguro tomorrow, I'll ask one of my officers to take pictures of us. Haha. Aray... yung rayuma ko nanaman lumalabas. Di pala pwede Moves like Jagger sa Wushu eh. Dapat pala Moves like Jet Li (Yes, Jet Li is a Wushu champion). Haha Kbye.
